I read this article about targeting women who also are baby boomers – arguably one of the most important groups in healthcare marketing.

WAVE is currently working with several clients on targeting certain groups, and at the end of the day, women are almost always one of the consumer targets included. This article spells it out perfectly, “Don’t assume you know anything about any niche group.”

But this group in particular is essential to understand because it is powerful. This group has the potential to have the most significant effect on a business, and quickly. For results-oriented clients, targeting female baby boomers, if done correctly, can yield positive results fast.

The key here is research; taking the time to find out what this group is really thinking. And I’m not just talking about general trends, but perceptions of your specific organization and market. Research yields the right insights, which, if woven well into a strategic marketing plan, can be incredibly effective.
